Lily Jade diaper bags were started as a company in 2013 with a vision to combine style and functionality for all moms.  Lily is to represent the softness of a mother and jade is to represent her strength. The company is based out of San Antonio, Texas and has become quite the name brand of all bags.  Their bags are made of real, buttery-soft leather with beautiful design and organization.

Because we help support Lily Jade, Lily Jade helps to support adoption families through charitable contributions, giveaways and community support.  They also help support Embrace Grace for those women with unplanned pregnancies.

1. Quality

Lily Jade bags are made with 100% real cow hide leather.  Much of their leather comes from New York and made in China. The founders, Meggan and Landon Wood, travel to the factory frequently to make sure the bags are being made in a healthy environment.

2. Style

Sometimes I feel like I am the only person who loves simple, solid and contemporary design because wow, it is hard to find!  When I first saw these bags I was in awe that someone had actually created something that didn’t scream DIAPER BAG!

3. Spacious

I have owned a total of 5 diaper bags and this is BY FAR the most spacious bag.  The beauty of it is that it doesn’t look huge while wearing it. Right now I switch between the Bella Tunno Boss Bag and this Lily Jade Shaylee bag.  This one seriously has 3x more room than the Bella Tunno bag and from the outside, they are the same size!

Lily Jade comes with an organizational insert that has 12 pockets and fits into the bag like tea fits into my night at the end of a long day.

4. Versatile

There are 3 ways to wear a Lily Jade bag.  The famous backpack, crossbody and tote.

The backpack is my favorite! The straps don’t hurt the shoulders at all, even if it is packed.  The backpack keeps me completely hands-free to love on my children constantly.

The crossbody is nice to wear if you are going somewhere a little nicer.  I wear it this way when I want more of a purse look.

I also love the tote style because the handles of the bag are large enough to swing it on my shoulder when I need to quickly bring it with me.  It also looks more like a purse if you aren’t wanting that diaper bag look on your back.

5. Community

Lily Jade has a very active Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest channels for answering any questions or just seeing all of their bags. They also respond to emails very quickly!

There are multiple groups on facebook for selling the bags or just chatting about them.  My favorite Lily Jade group is here. If you live in Australia, This one is also a good one.

Lily Jade also creates a strong community initiative where you can join a local Nourishment and Encouragement group in your area of moms and women.  These groups are made of 10-12 women and meet twice monthly to make new friends from all walks of life as well as share our love for Lily Jade! You can join a group or learn more about that here.
